Death died that day

He rose again...

For us, this means that though weeping may last for the night, JOY comes with the morning. With His morning, His arrival, His presence. His resurrection means we can live in Hope, because nothing can defeat Him or us anymore. We are now His brothers' and sisters', God's very own children, chosen and adopted by Love. We no longer have to fear anything because

With Jesus' last breath, Satan was condemned to hell, and with His first resurrection breath, Satan was condemned to stay there forever. 
he can yell and scream and tell people whatever lies he wants to, but our new reality is that he actually has no power. 

JESUS WON.

TRUTH WON.

LIFE WON.

LIGHT WON.

Because of His first breath, we no longer have to worry about breathing our last, because we belong to Him. Death has no hold on us.  We are no longer punished as our sins deserve, but quite the opposite, we are held up in Grace... In unmerited favor, undeserved Love, undying Love that sent the one Who loves to die for us. 

Today is a new day, and Jesus has risen. Rejoice with me friends. We are alive because He is.
